Without her in my life, I am not so important

✔LIKE ✔Share ✔ Enjoy... My sunshine does not come from the skies; it comes from the love I see in her eyes. She knows no evil, resentments, grudges, jealousy or discontent. To just sit with her makes for a splendid day. Just the two of us together peacefully, where words need not be spoken. Silently we share the same views; to do nothing together is never boring. 

When she rests her head on my shoulder at the end of each day, I feel blessed that she depends on me. I know the bond we share is everlasting; far beyond any ties I have of this earth. I know she watches me as I sleep, with a gentle kiss she will awaken me from nightmares of the past.

My smallest expression fills her with delight; she makes my house a home. I see the hurt in her eyes, when I must leave her alone. When I return there is no bitterness that I left for a while. Eagerly she dances around me, welcoming me back. When I have made a mistake, she delights in forgiving me. When I am upset, she becomes the clown who makes me laugh aloud. 

Without her in my life, I am not so important. With her by my side, I know a secret comfort and a private peace. She has taught me the meaning of loyalty, trust and devotion. She has brought me understanding where before I was lacking. 

I know in my heart she has vowed to wait for me, whenever, wherever no matter what, because she knows I need her as much as she needs me. Embracing her heals my pain. Her presence by my side indicates protection against my fears of the unknown. 

She is my other set of eyes to see above the chaos. She is my other ears to listen beyond the winds. She never hesitates to warn me of approaching danger. She has told me a millions of times, with just a glance, that I am her every reason for living. 

She never judged me by my past. For both of us, it was love at first site. Such a true unconditional love I have never knew before her. Our love grows stronger with each new day and I expect it always will: She is my dog. If your dog does not like someone you probably should not either, after all they are our best friends.
